An upright, oval tree, particularly desirable because of the long clusters of yellow, wisteria-like flowers and bright green foliage. They grow best in a place sheltered from the mid-afternoon sun.

Suitable as a small, specimen tree. Young plants can also be trained for arbours, pergolas or as an espalier. Consider removing the seed pods as they appear as they are not particularly ornamental. They consume the plant's energy and are quite poisonous. All parts of this plant are poisonous.
